Black Ops Market Accounts & Security

Is PGP really mandatory?
100%. Every single account requires a PGP key added during registration. This isn't optional — it enables 2FA automatically. Your wallet decryption, password resets, and message encryption all depend on it. Lose your PGP key, lose access to your account. We're not exaggerating — support literally cannot help you without it.
How do I access my wallet?
Click the wallet icon (top right). You'll see your balance and deposit wallet, but here's the catch: you have to decrypt your wallet address with your PGP key before you can deposit. This is our anti-phishing system. If any site shows you a wallet without requiring decryption, you're on a fake mirror. Close it immediately.
I forgot my password — what now?
Use the "Forgot your password?" link on login. You'll need your PGP key to verify. No PGP key = no password reset. We built it this way on purpose. Write your key down, store it offline, treat it like your life depends on it. Because on here, your funds kind of do.
What about my PIN?
Your account PIN (created during registration) is used for transactions — withdrawals, mostly. Here's the important part: support will not reset your PIN. If you lose it, you need a new account. Open orders, funds, messages — none of it transfers. Yeah, it's harsh. That's the point. Keep it safe.

Buying, Escrow & Disputes

How does escrow work here?
Three tiers: 14-day standard escrow, 7-day reduced, and Finalize Early (FE) for top-tier vendors. Buyers can request two extensions of 7 days each (14 extra days total). We're also rolling out variable escrow — vendors will eventually pick between 5 and 30 days based on account status.

Vendor hasn't accepted my order?
Vendors have 48 hours to accept. If they don't, the order auto-cancels and funds go straight back to your wallet. No fees deducted on cancelled orders — ever. Same goes for shipping: 7-day window, or it's auto-cancelled. We don't play favorites here.
When can I open a dispute?
Once half the escrow period has passed. So on a 14-day escrow, that's after 7 days. On a 5-day, after 2.5 days. Our team handles disputes, but buyers and sellers can also resolve things themselves — refund requests within the dispute system. Automated resolution covers specific cases; everything else goes to our dispute team.

Black Ops Market — Monero (XMR)

Why Monero only?
Monero is the only major crypto where every user is anonymous by default. Ring signatures, stealth addresses — the whole stack. Bitcoin is traceable. Litecoin is traceable. We're not going to pretend they're safe for darknet use. XMR or nothing.
What are the fees?
Deposits: zero fees. Withdrawals: 1% + network fee (the network fee goes to the blockchain, not to us). This is lower than most markets. Our sales commission is after-sale only — meaning if your order gets cancelled or refunded, we don't take a cut. That's how it should be.
Funds aren't showing up?
Before you panic: check if the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain. Monero usually clears within 30 minutes. Also consider whether you accidentally visited a phishing mirror — if you deposited without decrypting your wallet, those funds are gone. We can't recover them. Also: no multiple pending deposits. Wait for one to clear before sending another.
Recommended wallets?
GUI Monero (getmonero.org) or Feather Wallet (featherwallet.org). Both are open-source and multi-platform. Never send directly from an exchange — especially one where you've completed KYC. Route it: Exchange → personal XMR wallet → Black Ops.

Only when you can't find the answer in the FAQ, guides, or rules. Tickets that ask questions already answered here get auto-closed. We're not trying to be rude — we just get a lot of volume. Check the docs first, then open a ticket if you're still stuck.
How fast is support?
We've got teams spread across three continents. It's not literally 24/7 but it's close. You won't be waiting days for a reply. Disputes, tickets, questions — someone's usually on it within a few hours.
